Our whole class instrumental lessons enable primary schools in Bath and surrounding areas to offer all young learners the chance to learn to play an instrument.  For KS1 and KS2 pupils we offer a choice of keyboard, recorder or ukulele to suit the year group and any specific teaching requirements your school may have.

A perfect introduction to the nuts and bolts of learning a musical instrument, Make Music’s whole class music lessons take a holistic approach that provides children with a creative, inspirational and above all fun music experience.  They allow primary schools to proactively extend their music curriculum and cover PPA classes too.

Make Music offers primary school head teachers a choice of whole class music programmes that can be tailored to particular school needs.  Lessons are typically 40-50 minutes and at the end of the programme pupils are able to give a lively and engaging musical performance to families and pupils.

All of our whole class instrumental lessons and PPA music lessons follow national curriculum guidelines and incorporate assessment and a progression framework.  Make Music teachers are qualified, experienced, enhanced DBS checked and fully insured.

Our whole class lessons are designed to foster a wide range of musical skills, including: improvisation, composition and performance; listening and responding to music; learning to read music; playing in a group and the development of musical memory.

These primary school lessons are often the first step a child takes in learning to play a variety of different instruments in later life.  To find out more about Make Music’s whole class instrumental lessons, call Jeni Reid on 07984 262 482 or email jeni@makemusicuk.com
